Following on from the work we did today, I would like you to write an analysis of the title, cast list and opening page of dialogue from Act 1 Scene 1 of 'The Importance of Being Earnest'.
In your analysis, which I hope and expect to be posted on your blog (either embedded as a document or a simple post) I would like you to consider the following.
How does Wilde explores status through his use of language?
My expectation is that your essay will be between 450 and 550 words and this should take about an hour. In the remaining time I expect you to read the play and I hope that you find it funny...if not you know what Wilde would think of you!
Sir i've been trying to look for the book: A Streetcar Named Desire on amazon and i'm finding it really difficult, i don't know which one to get...? If you can please help me with which one to pick i would be very grateful, thanks sir.
